The Beta Freefoil offers the longest endurance of any foil on the market. Span, aspect ratio, and weight are the dominant factors in flight endurance — and the dual-mast structure enables gains in all three. The Freefoil achieves a 2.1m span and a 21.0 aspect ratio at a fully assembled weight of just 7.2kg. Thanks to their ultra-thin 7mm profile, the masts slice cleanly through the water without adding excess drag. Every airfoil, angle, curve, and contour is refined by founder and aerospace engineer Todd Reichert, whose career has been dedicated to pushing the boundaries of human-powered endurance. In a head-to-head comparison, the Beta Freefoil is unmatched.
STIFFNESS

Flex wastes energy. Our patented dual-mast structure, combined with ultra-high modulus (UHM) carbon fiber, delivers roughly 50× more bending stiffness and 5× more torsional stiffness than a typical single mast design. The result? More of your power goes into propulsion — not into flex or control corrections.
In the vertical direction, the wings, aft-fuselage, and board are tuned like the strings of a tennis racket — delivering just the right stiffness for efficient and responsive propulsion.

With the industry's first split wing, the Beta Freefoil packs down to just 124 cm and fits neatly into its custom padded travel bag. Assembly is fast and precise — with just four main parts and a preset T-handle torque wrench, there's no guessing and no over-tightening. Designed by riders who value time on the water, not time with a toolkit.
