Beta Freefoil
The Beta Freefoil comes with everything you need including the foil, the board, assembly tools, and a travel bag. We also offer the foil without the board, and the board by itself.
Learning to freefoil is a rewarding challenge, but requires serious commitment. Please see the drop-down sections below or message us if you have any questions about the product or the sport itself.
We're passionate about what we do and we're excited to talk to you!

We want everyone to thoroughly enjoy their experience with the Freefoil, so we want to share some of the hard truths about this sport and how we've learned to deal with them:
- It's a lot harder than it looks to learn this sport, and requires consistent practice of 3-5 days per week. Fortunately, once you can launch from a dock and pump for 5 minutes, launching from rocks and beaches doesn't take too long to learn.
- If you venture beyond your dock and decide to launch from rocks and beaches you will eventually scratch your wing. It's okay, our own wings are scratched and we've measured a performance decrease that is nearly imperceptible.
- Climbing amongst rocks along the shore can be dangerous and often leads to cuts and scrapes. We always ride with Vibram FiveFingers water shoes which reduces the risk of slipping and protects you from sharp, uneven ground.
- Achieving flight endurance over 30 minutes requires not just being healthy and athletic, but treating this like an endurance sport and developing a high aerobic fitness level. Alternatively, taking breaks between short flights can greatly increase your total range.
- Wind and waves make this sport a lot harder by increasing the required power and making handling more difficult. Fortunately wind predictions are far more accurate than rain predictions, and timing your freefoiling sessions with ideal conditions is fairly straightforward.
All parts are warrantied for 1 year against manufacturing defects. Warranty is subject to a maximum rider weight limit of 200 lbs (90 kg).
